ASHLEY WILTSHIRE (b. 1957)

A native of Pensacola, Florida , Wiltshire now resides in Alabama where she pursues painting full time. Her painting style has been described as very diverse, sometimes realistic , sometimes abstract, with the key link being Romanticism. The oils on board or canvas, frequently center on depictions of water, whether on the ground as rivers, swamps, or the ocean, or in the sky as fog, clouds or the fury of Mother Nature. The moment portrayed could be dusk or dawn, always inspired by the dynamic , mysterious energy of nature.
